The“bad'' energy and the“good” energy           


As you study the qigong, you will come across the terms “bad energy”, or “good energy”.

(1) The bad energy refers to a subtle negative energy that exists everywhere, it could not be detected by a scientific instrument, but it can be felt by someone who has the sensibility.
The bad energy could stagnate in a body, and become the stagnant energy, it could disrupt the immune system of the body, besides, it would cause the red blood cells to entangle, the entangled red blood cells would impede blood circulation. The symptoms could be tiredness, or decreased supply of oxygen in the brain.

(2) The good energy refers to the subtle life energy that exists everywhere, the good energy sustains our life, but usually we are not aware of its existence, and it could not be detected by a scientific instrument, similarly, it could be sensed by someone who has more refined sensibility.
The good energy would boost the immune system of a body, and would also improve the blood circulation, as it would release the red blood cells from being entangled.

(3) To promote health and longevity, we need to increase our good energy, and the following steps would be very helpful:
 1. Practicing Master Shih’s form of qigong, because the primary aim of the form is to rid the body of bad energy ,and to increase and store up good energy.

 2. If you are too busy to fit the practice in, you can make use of Master Shih’s online Audio Attunement, which also has the effects of reducing bad energy and increasing good energy.

 3. You would get quicker results, if you practice the qigong, while you also take the audio attunements frequently, as they are complementary.

(4) Progress at your own pace:
A beginner might take some practice to start feeling the energy, such as sensation of tingling or vibrations somewhere in the body, each individual is unique, as it
depends on your openness to the energy, or your sensitiveness. However, the life energy works on its own wisdom, regardless of whether you can feel it or not, just be neutral and open to it, do not attach your awareness to any sensation, don’t set a preconception of what you will experience.
It takes time to build up your good energy and clearing the bad energy, In addition, each individual is unique, for instance, some people might have greater accumulation of stagnant energy than others, and it would then take longer time to clean it up.
When your good energy has enhanced, you would be more aware of the delicacy of the energy, and you would obtain noticeable result, such as improvement to your health. You would then acknowledge that what we have written in our articles are truth.

In order to obtain the benefits of qigong, practicing should be on long term basis, so it is best to cultivate the habit of your regular practice, be patient, persistent and have some faith in the process, and you will reap the benefits in the long run.
